In the end, I decided to go with 5 triptychs to submit to the Sony Awards. Each triptych embodies a different element to my series about sustainable farming practices while staying true to my style and aesthetic. With mass farming contributing so greatly to climate change, I feel it is important to showcase the beauty in local farms practicing sustainable and ethical farming. In photographing both the farmers and the landscape, I'm attempting to humanize and bring relatability to the viewer while creating a desirability or a longing for all farming to follow in these footsteps.
